CORPORATE OVERVIEW
Corporation Background
P & G Cleaning, Inc. is a fast growing national, commercial, cleaning company founded by its President Joe Polanco in 1996.
The company started in Central Jersey and has now expanded its offices across the state.
P & G Cleaning, Inc. offers janitorial service to over three hundred clients with more than eighty million square feet of commercial office, health care, medical, banking, shopping malls, hotel, residential and industrial facilities nationwide. Our janitorial services include daily custodian cleaning, and special cleaning, such as carpet shampoo, strip and wax floors, exterior power washing, and much more. We also offer medical textile rental, industrial and commercial uniform rental, laundry, dry cleaning and tailoring services at our cleaning plant in Newark, New Jersey.
- Corporate Philosophy
Our phenomenal growth can be attributed to five important basic principles, established from the first day of operation:
1. Treat Our Customers As Life-TIme Partners
We always want to know how we are doing and how can we get better. We strongly believe that a satisfied customer makes for the best advertising.
2. Look At Our Business Through Our Customers Eyes
We make it a regular practice to listen carefully during contact with our clients. Through our area managers, inspections, telephone surveys and Rate Us cards, we are always looking for feedback and ways to improve service quality.
3. Deliver More Than Promises
The surest way to make the customers totally pleased with our service, come back for more and tell others how good we are, is to practice the and then some principle. Our products do what we said they would and then some. Our services are prompt and courteous and then some. It is our willingness to go the extra mile, which separate us from the rest.
4. Motivate Our Labor Force
-
- A special concept of labor motivation is the exact tool we use to overcome the recurrent problems of dealing with typical janitorial services:
-
- A. Cancellation of accounts due to poor performance.
B. Difficulty in getting hard-working, motivated individuals to do a well-done job.
C. Inconsistent service due to cleaner absenteeism and lack of experience.
To overcome the above potential problems, we have implemented programs such as:
- 1. Attendance bonuses
2. "Cleaner-Of-The-Month - Picked by building supervisors and area managers
3. Customer satisfaction bonuses
5. Focus Everyones Efforts On Servicing The Customer
Employees like to be rewarded for great performance. An expensive reward system, when compared to the cost of losing customers and creating new ones, is one of the greatest bargains. Servicing the customer is everyones job. Properly carried out, it becomes a triple reward system, because the customer, the company and the employees all win. We do not believe there is a better definition of Success.
